Best php ide to use with testrail4/5/2023 ![]() ![]() As we were dealing with more and more tests, we had to establish minimum rules to follow to create test cases and organize them.We have to share it between all the team members so it has to be clear and anybody should be able to edit it (to add new scenarios or edit existing ones).You create many tabs and in each tab you try to organize the tests in columns and you are forced to create many columns and lines because you need to have as much information as possible (tester name, date, version, database etc…) - and the spreadsheet you’ve been working on for months starts to be a QA nightmare. We have many tests (around 400) so it became very difficult to organize and make all these 400 tests readable and clear on a spreadsheet.Organizationīefore Testrail, we used to create our test cases in a Google spreadsheet shared by all the QA members. Luckily, many tools exist that can help us to do our QA job in an efficient way.Īt Jahia, we decided to use Testrail because we found all the efficiency we needed to create, organize, update the tests and report the results. But organizing, updating and reporting all those tests can take a lot of time so we must find a way to do it well. We have to provide test cases good enough to ensure the quality of our product and execute them as fast as possible. ![]() As QAs, we are constantly looking for quality and efficiency in our work. ![]()
